It's about closing your eyes and retreating into your own mind in order to overcome the difficulties and contradictions in life.
Whether through art, drugs, sex, or simply imagination, we all need to escape every once in awhile.
The track marks the second collaboration between Cohen and Alexander Spit.
Spit's dark and progressive style compliments the Coopatroop production and Cohen's more melodic flow.
The pair linked previously on Cohen's "You Wouldn't Know" and felt a follow up was in order.
"Booyakah" is the first single off of Cohen's upcoming Home Less EP which drops June 2.

À ce jour, l’un des titres les plus sombre d’Aaron Cohen. "Booyakah" parle des divers facons d’échapper à la dure réalité de la vie.
Parfois il suffit de fermer les yeux et de reposer son esprit afin de mieux affronter certaines douleurs.
Que ce soit à travers l’art, la drogue, le sex ou tout simplement son imagination, on a tous besoin d’un exutoire.
Ce titre marque aussi la seconde collaboration entre Aaron et Alexander Spit.
Le style d’Alexander se marie parfaitement a l’excellente prod de Coopatroop, accompagnee du
flow melodique d’Aaron. Leur précédent effort commun, “You Wouldn’t Know”, était le premier titre issu du projet d’Aaron sorti fin d’annee derniere.
