WC announce Tour Dates
Entertainment One Music is pleased to announce west coast hip-hop pioneer, WC will tour with multi-platinum rapper/actor Ice Cube. WC will release a new album, “Revenge of the Barracuda” on March 8th, 2011 with the first single street anthem ‘You Know Me’ featuring Ice Cube & Maylay.
The 28-city North America tour kicks off in Aspen, CO on February 24th and will criss-cross the nation over six consecutive weeks, with a grand finale in Bakersfield, CA.
Hip-hop connoisseurs and hardcore west coast music fans alike will experience fist-hand the raw intensity that WC exudes when he hits the stage with longtime comrade, Ice Cube. Together, the duo will hit the road and continue to make history just as they have done over the past decade.
WC is one of Los Angeles’ most dominant street artists. He emerged onto the hip-hop scene with lyrics depicting the harsh realities of street-life, quickly solidifying him as a staple in the West rap scene. Soon thereafter, WC joined forces with Ice Cube to become a member of one of the most controversial groups in hip hop of all time, The West Side Connection. In the mist of dropping solo projects he later went on tour with Dr. Dre, Eminem, and Snoop to show the world how to Crip walk and throw up the “W” on a world-wide circuit.
Dub proclaims, “Revenge of the Barracuda is just another way of saying ‘back to the hardcore’” and on March 8th, 2011 the world will hear his wrath.
