The Roots Talk About Grammy Wins And Nods

The Roots will eventually earn a special spot in the Hip-Hop Hall of Fame. The crew has been pushing the limits of the genre for decades and show no real sign of weakening. The year 2010 actually proved that they are growing stronger. This week, they won three Grammys for Wake Up!, a collaboration with crooner John Legend. They were also nominated for their greatly acclaimed opus How I Got Over. AllHipHop linked with lead legend MC Black Thought and he gave his thoughts on the win as well as what it means to the group. "Its no time like the present to kick it up a notch," Black Thought said.
